V&P have supplied over 150 units 13KW and 10 units 19 KW diesel genset for Angola Telecom. These gensets are all located in remote area with adverse environment condition. They are run continuously on unmanned basis. For this particular application, V&P specially design a lot of features like double standby system, automatic changeover system, automatic fuel supply system, long term lubrication oil supply system, automatic ventilation blind, remote monitoring system. The gensets are housed inside sound insulated canopy with anti-rust and anti-lighting treatment. Such measures ensure safe and reliable long term unmanned operation.
Sudan Project
V&P supply Sinohydro Sudan Merowe project 12 units 1000KW diesel genset. These gensets form a temporary power house for round the clock power supply for the work site. V&P undertook turn-key responsibility for the project, including system design, equipment supply, genset room design, installation and commissioning, laying of power cable, operation training, setting up of maintenance schedule and one year on-site service. The power house has been running continuously from 2003 onwards without any failure. Its high reliability and economic operation cost was highly appreciated by the endusers. We have just completed the first major overhaul for the gensets after using 15,000 hours operation.
Malaysia Project
V&P supply Sinohydro Malaysia Bakun project 24 units diesel genset with rating from 120KW – 880KW. Those gensets are equipped with special modular paralleling system. It allow random combination of gensets of various rating to form several power supply sources for different parts of the work site. The output of various power sources can be adjusted by rearranging the grouping of gensets to cater fluctuating power demand in different phase of construction. Grouping of gensets can be achieved easily by plugging of quick adaptor. Identification of members in the group, automatic load sharing, automatic paralleling are all taken care of by our advanced controller. Our leading technical expertise in the field is well proven in this project.
Algeria Project
PetroChina use 2 units of V&P 6.3KV high voltage genset with high voltage paralleling system in their Algeria Soralchin Oil Refinery Project. They provide backup power supply for the plant in case of power failure. With our TGCM controller, automatic startup, paralleling, changeover can all be achieved automatically. The units can be controlled remotely via RS485 port. It can take over non-linear step load from motor, transformer, frequency converter, computer etc. The gensets have passed Algeria Government inspection (DPP). They run satisfactorily up to now and are highly regarded by the users.
